EN: Finally, my first moustache accessory, fresh from Asos! Oh happy day! And so much moustache (Hercule Poirot would be proud!) for just 2£ :D!

The Vero Moda dress arrived in the same bundle of joy from Asos and it’s better than I expected (I was afraid it was going to be too short in the front, but it’s just right). Emerald green (the colour is more realistic on the site than in my photos) is one of my favourite colours and it’s a very easy to wear day dress which – major advantage! – doesn’t get blown up by the wind.

The only minor disappointment was the fabric: while Asos say on their website that it’s cotton and elastane, in fact only the top part is (which makes it comfortably stretchy), while the bottom part is polyester (I wrote about this issue to customer service but they haven’t yet made the change on the website).

The leather wedge sandals from Nine West are extremely comfortable thanks to the mid heel (although they aren’t as flattering as one would wish because of the thick strap) and I wore them a lot last summer. Unfortunately it looks like this effort was too much for them and I’m afraid that their appearance in this post has been their swan (or rather ugly duckling) song :D.

I was planning to name this post something like “Yey, no more tights!” or “Yey, it’s finally spring” (something including “yey” at any rate, as a sign of my joy that it’s finally sunny and warm).
In the end I chose the current title to mark the happy ending of a potentially tragic story related to my beloved accessory – the black Murano glass ring: at the end of the photo session for this post I dropped the ring in the parking lot and only realized it about 2 hours later; my mother (the innocent victim in charge of taking the photos) insisted that we go back for it and, amazingly enough, there it was, the poor guy, under the very same car under which it had fallen, still in pretty good shape!

Regarding my outfit: the warm weather during the last few days has enabled me to finally get rid of the tights (which I hate!) and wear my “summer” boots. They are extremely practical and I wear them a lot (with dresses, skirts and shorts) during spring and autumn in fact (summer – not so much), when the mornings and evenings are still too chilly for ballerinas or sandals. They really do keep you warm enough to allow for bare legs.
