Waiting for the sun. Act 1.

Nu imi place iarna. DELOC.

I TRULY hate winter. So I’d much rather begin with photos from happier, sunnier times.

First stop: Venice. I went there for the first time in my life (and hopefully not the last) in April 2011. I didn’t expect to like it very much, as it seemed too much of a cliché. However, after the first 2 minutes of the vaporetto ride on the Grand Canale on the way to the hotel I realized that I was oh so wrong. It may well be a cliché, but Venice is the most charming city that I’ve ever been to. You simply cannot be sad or upset in Venice! – and for me, a less than positive nature (and that’s an understatement! :)), it really is a big deal to be able to say something like that!
